ekeg’s leadership team and parent company, EVAARO (owned by MML Capital), have announced the acquisition of Keg Logistics across the UK and Ireland, US, and Canada.

Floating ekegs

In the UK and Ireland, the combined company will continue to operate simply as ekeg, under the ongoing leadership of chief executive Christian Barden.

“Over the coming months, we will continue to ensure delivery of our products and plans to our customers as the industry prepares for the busy spring trading period, summer, and the FIFA World Cup,” said Barden.

He added: “Our combined teams share a commitment to service, quality, sustainability, and creating value in partnerships with producers of every size — from local craft breweries to the UKI’s largest beverage brands.

“With the positive changes already under way at ekeg, this acquisition marks another significant step in our growth strategy and a major development our customers.”

In the US, the Keg Logistics business will continue to be led by founder and chief executive Chris Sapyta. In Canada, the North Keg business will continue to be led by founder and chief executive Matt Wowchuck.
