We have four fresh brews releasing this week just in time for the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. Whether you prefer a traditional Irish stout, a hoppy ale or a sessionable lager on St. Patrick’s Day, we’ve got you covered.

Groove Armada is an Export Stout (and a HVS climb on Spellack). At 5.8% alcohol by volume it is a stronger version of the traditional Irish stout style. We’ve rounded out the body with Cara and Amber Malts, balancing those essential roasted grains and their coffee and dark chocolate notes. And a light Willamette dry hop helps boost the spicy, herbal character of the hops. A delicious alternative to the ubiquitous black stuff.

First brewed last spring, Poetic Justice makes a welcome return this week. It’s a 6.5% alcohol by volume Hazy IPA, with a 15g/l dry hop of Mosaic and Galaxy. Brimming with tropical fruit flavour and with a creamy malt mouthfeel, we’re very pleased with this latest brew.

Another 2020 brew returning this week is Brimstone, a 4.5% alcohol by volume Session New England IPA. Packed with oats, wheat and Dextrin Malt, this beer has great mouthfeel at a respectable strength. The dry hop is a blend of six American hop varieties mixing a bit of fruity juice with a bit of dank hop resin. Marvellous.

Mourne Mist needs little introduction. We’ve been brewing this award-winning 4.5% alcohol by volume Bohemian-style Pilsner for over 5 years, and it remains our best-selling beer. Previously only available on tap or in bottles, we’ve been looking forward to canning some for a while now. Brewed with Extra Pale malt and a touch of Light Munich malt, and generously hopped with whole leaf German Magnum and classic Czech Saaz varieties, this is a nicely balanced Pilsner with a light biscuity malt character, an assertive bitterness and a floral, herbal hop aroma. If you haven’t tried Mist in a while you should definitely grab some of these cans!

All these beers, along with Mourne Gold and Dot’s Delight, are now available on our online shop as full cases or as part of a Mixed Case. Cans will be shipping to your local good beer off sales in NI this week. They will also be available from selected bottle shops in GB very soon!
