Brewers are from China, Singapore, Ukraine, USA, and Denmark have created beers for the next JD Wetherspoon festival, running from 7th to 18th October.

It’s the first time beers from Singapore and Ukraine have featured in the event.
Most of the beers on offer have been brewed for the first time, exclusively for the festival. Among the collection are five vegan beers. As well as featuring a range of malt and hop varieties from around the world, there are also brews that include coconut, coriander, mango, and tea in their recipe.
The international beers are:
- Urbrew Oolong ESB (China)
- Mikkeller English Dream Pilsner (Denmark)
- Lion Mango IPA (Singapore)
- Varvar Session Golden Ale (Ukraine)
- UPP Liquids Pinball Wizard (USA)
The festival line-up also includes Cairngorm Autumn Nuts, Otter Reggae, Loch Lomond Flying South, Oakham Dressed To Impress, and Exmoor Red, among others.
“The festival is a great celebration of cask ale,” said Wetherspoon chairman Tim Martin. “It will allow our pubs to showcase a selection of superb beers, featuring many beers not previously available to our customers in the pub, including those from brewers as far afield as China and Ukraine, as well as those closer to home, over a 12-day period.”
Tasting notes on all of the beers will be available in the pub as part of the festival magazine (a digital version will also be available on the Wetherspoon app and website). All ales will be available to order at the bar or via the Wetherspoon app.
