We’re Hiring! Engineer Wanted!

Rye River Brewing Company is regarded as one of Ireland’s leading and most influential independent craft breweries. We are investing heavily in new equipment and systems to maintain our growth for years to come. Our plans are to expand our team to focus more on the increased level of automation we will be incorporating and help drive improved production efficiencies while maintaining our high product standard.​

We are looking for a dynamic, hardworking individual who will embrace our “Rye River Way” culture and ethos. This candidate needs to be self-motivated, fast-paced, and willing to work in an environment that adapts to changes challenges and opportunities as they manifest daily as part of the exciting Craft beer culture. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • A good understanding of the fundamentals of electronics, instrumentation and automation controls​
  • Troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment (e.g., wiring pumps, motors, sensors, VSD’s, etc)​
  • Develop, design and integrate new brewing technologies into the business​
  • Excellent project management skills, ensuring all projects are managed on time and on budget​
  • Understand the principles of product quality control​
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of preventative maintenance routines and manage contractor service schedules​
  • Assist with process improvement and initiate change

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

  • 5 years of electrical experience in a production and/or industrial environment​
  • PLC programming experience​
  • Have proven fault finding and maintenance of high-speed production equipment experience​
  • Computer skills including the use of project management software, spreadsheets and presentation software​
  • Full driving license required ​
  • Experience in lean manufacturing methodologies is desirable

Engineering qualifications and previous experience are desired. Training will be provided.
