Brewery Operative

Responsibilities and duties

  • Bottling, Canning, labelling, packaging as directed by the Brewers.
  • Maintaining and organising the warehouse
  • Deliveries as directed by the Sales Team
  • Assisting with Brewing, fermentation, conditioning, transfers as directed by the Brewers
  • Cleaning of Brewery and warehouse as directed by the Brewers
  • Keg washing and cleaning
  • In store promotions as directed by Sales team
  • Helping out at Craft beer festivals
  • Line cleaning, tap installation when required
  • Assist the team in putting together craft beer recipes
  • Other as required in any small team

The above list is not exhaustive, and you will be expected to be flexible in the role and carry out alternative tasks as reasonably required by the Company.

  • Able to drive a forklift
  • Good fit to the team
  • Physically able to lift 25kg bags of malt and repetitive lifting of up to 15Kg cases of beer
  • Hands on flexible person
  • Able to deal with the diversity of the job
  • Organizational skills, methodical
