New beer launches and collaborations this week, in store, on bars, and online, from around the UK.

Buxton Squidge

Buxton have launched two new limited edition beers. LupulusX – Vista (5.4% ABV) is the latest in their single-hop series. Vista is a hop from the Pacific North West of the USA, first released in 2021. There are aromas of honeydew melon backed up by juicy nectarine and papaya flavours. Its naturally high alpha acids provide a clean bitterness that keeps everything balanced

Squidge Citrus (6.5% ABV) is the second beer in their Macaron Smoothie Sour series. It’s loaded with grapefruit, lemon, lime, blood orange, and pomelo for a bright citrus hit, balanced by a subtle hint of almond that gives a nostalgic nod to a classic macaron.

Track Stock Party

Stock Party is a street festival in the middle ofStockport, in Robinsons’ brewery yard. Track were  there (it took place on Saturday) and to mark the occasion they have brewed a collaboration beer with the hosts, as well as Runaway and Cloudwater. Stock Party is a 5% ABV pale ale, hopped with Citra, Riwaka, and Southern Cross, and “coated in satin-smooth luxuriousness by a lick of lactose”. Expect “grapefruit, orange pith, and passionfruit, draped in pure gold and resting on a soft bed of barley, oats, and wheat”.

Mysterious Bring It Home

Berkshire breweries assemble! Mysterious have collaborated with Siren, Elusive, Double-Barrelled, and Bearwood on Bring it home, a 5.5% ABV black IPA. Mosaic hops lead the way, playing with the tension of bright, zesty, berry character, against rich, roasty malts.

Pomona Island Stack

Stacks is an 11% ABV Amarone barrel-aged chocolate and tonka stout from Pomona Island. It has been aged in four-year Amarone Riserva oak, which has imparted notes of sweet cherry and fresh coffee beans. These have “paired beautifully” with cacao and tonka in the base beer.

Abyss Exotica

Abyss have released two fresh sours under the Exotica label, each 5.5% ABV. The variants are Alphonso mango and keffir lime, and pink guava and Sicilian lemon.

Polly's Cabana

Cabana Daydream (6% ABV), from Polly’s, pairs Dolcita hops with their Oat Cream IPA for a thick, pillowy beer bursting with peach rings, caramelised pineapple, and sweet Valencia orange. A touch of Talus adds subtle pine and grapefruit.
