New beer launches and collaborations, in store, on bars, and online, from brewers around the UK

There are two new core beers, plus a limited release, from Overtone. Klang (5.2% ABV) is a German-style lager, crisp and clean, with delicate floral notes and a refreshing finish. It is hopped with Hallertau Mittelfrüh and Tettnang. Sandstorm (6.5% ABV) is a bold and juicy IPA, with tropical fruit flavours, dank pine, and a clean finish. It is brewed with Simcoe, Strata, and Mosaic hops. And, finally, 3 Fjords (8% ABV) is a kveik DIPA delivering juicy flavours of pineapple, mandarin, and passionfruit.

Blue Veil (6.5% ABV) is a new IPA from Left Handed Giant. “Using a healthy charge of Motueka and Nectaron, from Freestyle, lends an unmistakable sweetness and tropical depth to the dry-hop,” says the brewer. “Indie Hops’ Strata wafts overtop, heady and herbaceous with all the budding promise of ripe fruits to follow.” Expect notes of Mojito, yellow peach, and wild strawberry.

DEYA have collaborated with Virginia’s Commonwealth Brewing Co on Limitless Expanse, an 8% ABV DIPA. It blends Nectaron, Citra, and Simcoe for citrus and tropical vibes.

Know Your Anemone (4% ABV) is a pale ale being released by Indie Rabble today. The cask beer is hopped with Vista and Nelson Sauvin for peach and white grape notes.

There are two new brews from Vocation, each a very different take on a dark beer. Dark Harvest is a 10% ABV porter, rich, bold, and indulgent, layering chocolate, dark caramel, toasted malt, and dried fruit with deep, jammy plum sweetness. A touch of smoked malt brings subtle fireside warmth, while Bramling Cross hops add gentle berry and spice notes. Also new is burnt offering, a 5% ABV oatmeal stout. Rich roasted malt meets warming ginger, black treacle, and golden syrup, while toasted and flaked oats deliver a smooth, rounded texture, with lingering dark caramel on the finish.

Brew York have collaborated with Abbeydale on Blood Moon, a 5.5% ABV IPA inspired by one of the latter’s classic beers, Moonshine. It puts a darker twist on its pale predecessor, combining rich caramel and toasted malt with layers of citrusy, resinous hops, and a firm, satisfying bitterness.

A numbered small batch brew from 2024 has been given a name and a re-release by Verdant two years later. Haze Sprayer is an 8% ABV DIPA hopped with Citra, El Dorado, Eclipse, and Idaho 7, and dry-hopped at 30g per litre. That’s a lot. Expect notes of citrus, dank melon, and tropical fruit.

Northern Monk describe Northumberland (8.2% ABV) as a campfire stout. Part of their Patrons Project, it’s a collaboration with illustrator Liam Ashurst. “A base of beautifully roasted chocolate and dark crystal malts bring cinder toffee to mind, with hints of dark berries and espresso,” says the brewer. “We’ve added liquid cacao and lactose for a rich, creamy dark chocolate character that underpins the whole beer, topped off with marshmallow for that proper campfire nostalgia.”

Stars and Astral Cars, a 5.5% ABV pale, is one of three new offerings from Pomona Island. “Intensely tropical aroma, it drinks like tinned peach syrup with over-ripe mango juice,” says the brewer. Also new are Beach Foam Baby, a 5.3% ABV West Coast pale, and Hardware, Software, and a Floppy Disc, a 6.5% ABV IPA. “Aromas of spruce needles and freshly cut pineapple. It hits with lemon zest and more sweet pineapple juice.”

Stancill’s spiced Yorkshire Parkin porter is back, bringing comforting, toasty, roasty flavours thanks to a nine-malt blend. Added ginger gives Treason (4.5% ABV) its signature spark of warmth.
