New beer launches and collaborations, in store, on bars, and online, from brewers around the UK

Indie Rabble Taproom

It’s Indie Rabble’s third anniversary this week (there’s a three-day birthday weekender at the brewery from Friday). To mark the occasion, there are two new collaborations. Chaotic Good (8.4% ABV) is a New England DIPA created with Sureshot, while Weaponised Chaos is a West Coast Triple IPA, made with Elusive, coming in at a mighty 10% ABV.

Tartarus selection

There’s an August selection box of beers available from Tartarus, containing their freshest releases. It comprises: Sphinx (6.1% ABV), a gluten-free hazy IPA; Feurmann (5% ABV), a smoked dunkel; Pilou (4.5% ABV), a gluten-free hazy pale; and Banshee (4.5% ABV) a coffee stout.

Track Memory Games

There’s a raft of new releases from Track this week. They include: Memory Games (8% ABV) is a returning Nectaron-hopped DIPA (there’s also a DDH version at 8.2% ABV); Pure Nectaron (8.4% ABV) is a Gold Top DIPA, again hopped with Nectaron; as is Dreaming of… DDH Nectaron, a 7% ABV DDH IPA. At Last (8% ABV) is a DDH IPA featuring new variety Paradisi, from Freestyle Hops; Those Who Know is a 5% ABV pale ale showcasing Motueka and Wakatu; and Alsace completes the line-up, a 2.8% ABV French lager hopped with Barbe Rouge, a modern Alsatian variety.

Verdant DRink

Verdant have collaborated with The Designers Republic, who are behind the artwork on the re-issue of Aphex Twin’s Selected Ambient Works. The beer is a 4.5% ABV pale, with a “pungent hop character”. However, the cans themselves will feature ten individual tD designs for drinkers to collect!

Left Handed Sun

Catch The Sun (5.5% ABV) is a new DDH pale from Left Handed Giant, hopped with Motueka, Citra, and Strata. It offers notes of boysenberry, crushed lime, and strawberry tops, reminiscent of orchards and hedgerows in full splendour. Also new is Charmed Choice (8% ABV), a DIPA further exploring NZ Hops’ series of experimental varieties alongside a late-harvest crop of Nelson, from Bold River Hops, and Citra Cryo. Expect notes of marmalade, Persian lime, and pressed gooseberry.

Brew York Giant Coney

Brew York have taken one of their most popular beers and made it giant. Giant Coney (7.5% ABV) is a hazy DIPA brewed with generous additions of Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe. It’s bursting with juicy citrus, ripe mango, and luscious stonefruit flavours.

DEYA Saturated

The focus is on Riwaka in DEYA’s latest ‘Saturated In’ release. The 8% ABV DIPA blends blends multiple Eggers’ Riwaka lots from this year’s harvest to make a soft, pillowy brew with bold notes of Skittles, passionfruit, and Riwaka funk.
