Raising a Glass to Community: Bullhouse Brew Co. Partners with Newforge Taggers

At Bullhouse Brew Co., beer has always been about more than what’s in the glass. Since day one, we’ve believed that great beer brings people together, creates conversations, and strengthens the communities around us.

As we celebrate 10 years of Bullhouse Brew Co., we’re incredibly proud to announce our Charity Partner of the Year: Newforge Taggers.

This partnership feels especially meaningful as the Taggers are celebrating an incredible milestone of their own; they’ve spent the last 20 years creating opportunities, friendships and unforgettable experiences through tag rugby for people with learning difficulties.

Why Newforge Taggers?

Every year, we look for a charity partner whose values reflect our own. Newforge Taggers stood out because of their commitment to inclusion, teamwork and building confidence through sport.

For two decades, the club has provided a welcoming environment where players can develop skills, stay active, make lifelong friendships and be part of a team. Their impact reaches far beyond the rugby pitch, creating a genuine sense of belonging for players, families and volunteers alike.

As a proudly independent brewery rooted in our local community, supporting organisations that make a real difference close to home is incredibly important to us. Newforge Taggers embody everything that community should be: welcoming, supportive and full of people looking out for one another.

How We’ll Be Fundraising

Throughout the year, we’ll be raising money in a number of ways, and we’d love for our customers, friends and fellow beer lovers to get involved.

Monthly Quiz Nights

Our monthly quizzes have become a regular fixture at the taproom, bringing together teams for a bit of friendly competition and plenty of laughs. Throughout the year, proceeds from our quiz nights will go directly towards supporting Newforge Taggers and the fantastic work they do.

Festivals & Events

We’ll also fundraise at many of the festivals and events we’re part of this year. With a percentage of the proceeds from beer & merch sales being donated to the club. So our customers can drink good beer and do a bit of good too.

Celebrating Milestones Together

It’s a special year for both organisations.

As Bullhouse Brew Co. celebrates 10 years of brewing independently, we’re reflecting on the incredible support we’ve received from our customers, neighbours and the wider local beer community.

At the same time, Newforge Taggers are celebrating 20 years of changing lives through inclusive sport and proving that everyone deserves the opportunity to be part of a team.

While our anniversaries mark different journeys, they’re built on the same foundations: bringing people together, creating welcoming spaces and investing in our local community.

Here’s to community, connection and raising a glass to the next chapter, for Bullhouse Brew Co., Newforge Taggers and everyone who helps make both possible.
