Known across the UK as the Marathon Man, Gary captured the nation’s attention by completing a 365 marathons in 365 consecutive days, covering more than 9,500 miles and raising over £1.3 million for charity.

The LTC JOGLE Pub Run will see participants take on an epic 900-mile relay journey from John O’Groats to Land’s End over 30 days, from 13th July to 11th August.

The challenge has been created to raise funds that will enable the Licensed Trade Charity to support even more people across the licensed hospitality sector, while promoting wellbeing and strengthening community connections.

“The Licensed Trade Charity does vital work supporting people throughout hospitality, and I’m proud to be part of a challenge that not only raises funds, but also shines a light on wellbeing, resilience, and community spirit,” said McKee.

“Running from John O’Groats to Land’s End is a huge challenge, but the real motivation comes from the people we’ll meet along the way. I hope my involvement encourages even more individuals, teams, and businesses to get behind the LTC JOGLE Pub Run and help make a lasting difference to those working in an industry that is at the heart of so many British communities.”

Organised by the Licensed Trade Charity in partnership with Strava, the LTC JOGLE Pub Run is supported by headline sponsor Lucky Saint, alongside Avani Solutions, Thatchers Cider, Punch Pubs & Co, and Star Pubs.

Alongside the core relay, Community Days will take place at locations across the route, inviting hospitality teams, local residents, and supporters to run, jog, walk, volunteer or cheer participants on. Pubs will serve as community hubs throughout the challenge. Find out more about community days here.
