Glasgow’s annual festival showcasing independent breweries and drinks specialists, organised by the Glasladies Beer Society (GBS), returns on 24th October at the Queen Margaret Union (QMU).

A previous Glasladies beer festival
The popular beer festival showcases Glasgow and Scottish favourites, as well as first-time participants from across the UK.
Regulars Dookit Brewing Co are attending again as they love what the Glasladies Beer Society stands for. “GBS is a great organisation genuinely promoting inclusivity in the Glasgow beer scene who also put on excellent and fun festivals, which are certainly one of my favourites in the calendar,” says the brewer.
Edinburgh-based Moonwake Beer Co have formed a friendship with Glasladies via International Women’s Collaborative Brew Days over the last couple of years. “Saying yes to the festival was a no-brainer,” said the brewer. “We love everything they stand for when it comes to making craft beer a more inclusive space, and the charity work they do is brilliant. We can’t wait to head down the M8 from Edinburgh to support the team, catch up with the Glasgow beer scene, and pour alongside some great breweries.”
Bullhouse Brew Co, from Belfast, recent overall champion at the inaugural Indie Beer Awards Northern Ireland, is a first-time attendee. They said: “Creating welcoming, inclusive spaces to enjoy great beer is incredibly important to us at Bullhouse, so we’re absolutely thrilled to be invited to pour at Beer Is For Everyone for the first time this year. We love Glasgow and we’re looking forward to catching up with some old friends, and making new ones!”
The Glasladies Beer Society was founded in 2019 to help amplify the presence of women and non-binary people in the beer industry. It has just been shortlisted as a finalist for the upcoming Women In Beer UK Awards in the category of “Women’s Beer Collective of the Year.”
