Presented by beer communicator and Kerroo Brewing Company co-founder Elizabeth Townsend, the podcast explores the journeys people have made into the professional beer industry, from their first pints to award-winning careers in brewing, marketing, entrepreneurship, and more.

“Since launching Kerroo two years ago, I have met countless people who share a dedication to showcasing the very best of beer through championing inclusivity, promoting brewing heritage, and making our industry one that will hold strong for future generations,” said Townsend.

Guests announced for the first series include professional beer judges Eva Rainey and Ady Floyd, brewers Eloise Nicholson-Phillips and Sophie Ashdown, Belfast saison brewery owners Jen Noble and Alastair Treliving, Attic Brewing’s Catherine Webber, Closet Brewing’s co-founder Lucy Stevens, Women in Beer founder Amélie Tassin, and Ireland-based brewers Sarah Branagan and Marco Mammoli.

The first three episodes of First Draught are available now on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, with one new episode per week released on a Wednesday morning for the duration of series one.

Kerroo Brewing Company, launched on the Isle of Man in 2024, is an independent brewery with community and collaboration at its heart. Brewing modern and traditional beer styles from a facility in the seaside village of Port Erin, Kerroo creates award-winning beers inspired by Manx culture and mythology.
