Nomansland Beer Festival returns to the Devon village’s cricket club on 29th and 30th May, raising money for local good causes.

Last May, the team behind the event served more than 2,000 pints (that’s one every 30 seconds!) and raised £13,000.

In total, the three previous festivals have raised more than £30,000, thanks to generous sponsors and support from local communities.

“We have been pleased to support many local organisations,” said a spokesperson, “including the Rest a While Centre, Witheridge Warriors YFC, Witheridge Brownies, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in Exeter, Chulmleigh PCC fund for disadvantaged children at Chulmleigh Academy, North Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team, Nomansland Cricket Club, and all of our local primary schools.

“Last winter we funded Witheridge School PTFA’s visiting pantomime, enjoyed by all. We remain open to requests for support.”

This year’s festival will feature more than 20 Devon beers and ciders, various food outlets, and a range of live music across Friday night and all day Saturday.
