Belgium has of course a long and very distinguished beer history and culture. Belgian beer style have had global influence and the Belgian brewers are admired around the globe.
But this beer history and brewing pedigree can result in a very conservative approach to any changes or brewing innovations. A number of breweries are starting to change that, including Gent Craft Brewery DOK Brewing.
Janos from DOK told us more about Belgian beer culture during the brewers roundtable with fellow craft brewers Sakiškis from Lithuania and Browar Stu Mostow from Poland.
