A huge welcome to our special guest – Ryan Tubridy

Well Ryan’s visit was a complete surprise and very welcome. It was pleasing to sit in the brewery and chat with a celebrity displaying natural humility and wit. Showing interest in others rather than himself. A discussion ensued about books both current and old favourites. Maybe only book lovers may understand- a literary kindred spirit. I suppose that encapsulates why he is still so admired. The time flew by as we talked about beer, books and history; a fascinating interlude for us and we hope for Ryan also. Good luck moving forward Ryan, you can’t keep a good man down.

Tom Crean Brewery Kenmare produces many different styles of beer which can be sampled in the brewery taproom, or you can join on one of the tours and find out how we brew beer in Kenmare. Relax in the cool surroundings amongst the Tom Crean memorabilia and imagery. Find out how we generate our power to run the brewery and try to produce a pint “that doesn’t cost the earth”
