WE’RE HIRING! WAREHOUSE OPERATOR WANTED!

Rye River Brewing Company, one of Ireland’s leading and most influential independent craft breweries, is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our team. With our commitment to growth, we are expanding our warehouse with a new facility currently in construction. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic brewery and help drive improved warehouse efficiencies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive incoming shipments of raw materials, packaging materials, and equipment and verify their accuracy
  • Prepare and assemble orders for production, ensuring timely delivery of materials to the brewing and packaging teams
  • Accurately pick and prepare customer orders according to pick sheet
  • Ensure the correct quantities and products are selected for each order
  • Use warehouse management systems (WMS) for order picking
  • Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all required documentation is included
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely and accurate delivery
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Rotate stock to ensure the first-in, first-out (FIFO) principle is followed
  • Report discrepancies or issues with inventory levels promptly and assist in cycle counts
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organised
  • Collaborate with production and quality control teams to maintain an organised and efficient workflow
  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
  • Inspect products for damage or defects before packing and dispatching
  • Follow quality control procedures to maintain the highest product quality
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Comply with brewery policies and procedures

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

  • 3+ years warehouse experience essential.
  • Must have a valid reach and counterbalance license (Applicant without this will not be considered).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Engineering qualifications and previous experience are desired. Training will be provided.
