UnBarred Brewery are celebrating a new era for their Brighton taproom with a Weekender event, starting today. All draught beers will be £5 a pint.

UnBarred beers

UnBarred Taproom opened in 2019 and is the beating heart of the UnBarred experience. It’s a place where locals can pull up a stool and drink the full range of UnBarred beers on draught, from core favourites to one-off limited
edition releases.

Seven years on, the taproom is getting bigger. The opening of UnBarred’s production brewery, in Worthing, over the last few weeks has freed up space to expand the Elder Place site, while retaining brewing operations in Brighton as well as Worthing.

The team are celebrating in the best way possible: three days of £5 draught beers.

The UnBarred Taproom Weekender runs from today until Sunday, with Brighton Pier-inspired games on throughout. Today, DJ Massive Arms takes over from 4pm. From 7pm, a half-hourly raffle runs alongside the drinking, with a ticket landing with every £5 pint purchased. The grand prize is a £100 bar tab.

“We couldn’t be prouder of our taproom,” said general manager Dan Harris. “The support from our community has been incredible, and this celebration is really about saying thank you to everyone who has made it what it is today.

“We wanted to throw a proper party with great beers, music, and atmosphere, whilst channeling our Brightonian roots and values.”
