New beer launches and collaborations this week, in store, on bars, and online, from around the UK.

There’s a new release of Anspach & Hobday’s Hedgerow, a 4.4% ABV pale ale. A classic English pale ale, it’s brewed with whole cone Harlequin and Bramley Cross hops. Expect grassy and floral notes, reminiscent of the English countryside, with subtle aromas of passionfruit, peach, and apricot.

The wonderfully-named Squeal of Fortune is Uley Brewery’s summertime special. Described by the brewer as “crisp, refreshing, and just a little bit crunchy”, it’s brewed with the expressive Zappa hop (yes, named after Frank). The genre‑defying beer sits somewhere between traditional ale and modern craft lager. It opens with a clean, crisp snap, moves into soft peach and papaya notes, and settles into a gentle pale‑malt richness.

Moon Mountains (5.7% ABV), from Polly’s, is a pale ale utilising Prysma, a liquid hop product from BarthHaas, which delivers intense hop character without harsh bitterness. Combined with Citra, Enigma, and a touch of Citra BBC, it brings bright citrus, white grape, and berry notes, with a balanced finish.

Brew York have collaborated with Pimentae Cocktails on Lagerita (4.1% ABV). Inspired by the latter’s Tommy’s Margarita, the crisp lager combines zesty lime with smooth agave sweetness, finishing clean, light, and refreshingly crisp, says the brewer.

TÖKÖ PON is an alcohol‑free New England IPA from Piglove. Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado combine to deliver mango, pineapple, guava, and ripe citrus, all wrapped in the pillowy NEIPA mouthfeel. “In Pemón culture, Tökö Pon evokes the idea of mental clarity and open skies,” says the brewer. “This beer channels that spirit: a moment of brightness, a pause in the noise, a chance to enjoy the full hop expression without the alcohol.”

Verdant have collaborated with Tate for a third time, celebrating an upcoming exhibition on the work of Frida Kahlo. There are two beers. I Would Give Her Flowers is a 4.5% ABV Mexican lager, inspired by Kahlo’s beloved sanctuary garden at La Casa Azul. Tender Thorns is a 6.5% ABV IPA, a classic juicy Verdant brew representing the resilient outer shell of a cactus.

Final Boss (Stage 1) is the first in a series of new single-hop American pale ales from Elusive, kicking off with Simcoe. In this case, four iterations of the hop. “We used whole cone in the kettle, DynaBoost in the whirlpool, Cryo as a dry hop, then liquid HyperBoost during cold conditioning,” says the brewer. “A real showcase of this wonderfully piney hop!”

Siren have brought together nearby brewers Elusive, Mysterious, Double-Barrelled, and Bearwood to develop a new black IPA, Bring It Home. “Mosaic hops are the hero here, playing with the tension of bright zesty, berry character against rich, roasty malts,” say Siren. “It’s tough to find the time to make a collab like this happen, but we managed to squeeze in one Friday in May to mash and properly bring it home.”

The Peacherine hop is centre stage in DEYA’s latest Saturated In brew, a DIPA coming in at 8% ABV. Using freshly-harvested Peacherine from Freestyle Hops, it offers “fleshy stonefruit goodness, bright peach, and tropical lime”.

Donzoko have collaborated with Fourman on Crowe, a 5.5% ABV southern hemisphere pale ale. Hopped with Galaxy and Riwaka, this hazy pale gives intense notes of peach and passionfruit upfront, with a sweet finish.

Pomona Island have collaborated with Manchester craft beer bar Joule on Hotter Than a Pepper Sprout, an 8% ABV DIPA. Fresh berries and lemon zest on the nose. Super smooth and full bodied, it has notes of lime flavoured boiled sweets and pineapple cubes.

Drop Project and Make Make have created Guider, a 5% ABV West Coast IPA. Chinook lays down a classic piney bitterness, while Kohatu and Ekuanot bring waves of tropical citrus and lime zest. “Clean, snappy, and packed with modern hop character, it’s a proper IPA with a refreshingly dry finish,” says the brewer.

Citra, Simcoe, and Galaxy flood the senses with with citrus, tropical, and stonefruit delight in Right About Now, a 6.5% ABV IPA from Track. Grapefruit, tangy orange, and lime aromas lead to apricot and peach freshness and juicy mango, passionfruit, and pineapple, with a background tingle of fresh pine forest. Also new from Track is Between The Bars, a 5% ABV pale hopped with Riwaka and Mosaic.

Chase The Sun (4.6% ABV) is a New England-style session IPA from Beer Hut. Mosaic takes centre stage with juicy notes of mango, melon, and peach, while Chinook adds a refreshing twist of grapefruit and a touch of piney tang.

The latest Fresh From pale ale from Northern Monk is a 5.6% ABV brew made using Strata HYperboost. This is concentrated hop oil used to boost the already powerful and distinct character of Strata. The beer has a massive dank hit of cannabis funk and intense pine, complimented by the fruity edges of the hop that bring a bounce of passionfruit, orange, and red grapefruit. Luminosa and Eclipse Spectrum hops bring extra hits of tangerine and papaya, with a slightly savoury hint of basil, and some cedar.

Wild Horse have collaborated with Third Moon Brewing, from Canada, on a new DIPA, Ghost Town (8% ABV). It’s loaded with Strata, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Galaxy hops, and “oozes resinous pine, sweet exotic citrus, and sticky tropical bubblegum flavours”, say the brewers.
