During the August Bank Holiday weekend, we held our second ever taproom event which ran from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th.

We had an awesome time and we were overwhelmed with the support. Things were abit different this time round due to COVID-19, however we did not let this spoil the party as we had regulations in place which customers adhered to along with contact tracing.

We also took this opportunity to launch our three new beers: Brimstone, Hypothesis and Electra. These went down a treat if we must say so ourselves… we had a little taste or two. They are now available here on our website.

It was great to bring some normality back to peoples life along with enjoying draught beer from a pint glass. Who would have thought we would miss something so simple eh?

Supporting local businesses is vital, especially during these unprecedented times. We are ever so grateful to everyone who attended and shared their experience on social media. Something as simple as engaging with social media content can go a long way with small businesses.

We collaborated with local business Church Lane who provided the food. Tacos and pork baps. My mouth is watering at the thought of them. Very tasty and a good combo for beer. We also had help from Ye Old Ship Inn and other local businesses/people who we thank for helping make this a success.

When chatting to customers, a lot of them said similar things along the lines of ‘It’s Something different. You don’t really get to attend events like this here.’ We were happy to provide a unique customer experience at our microbrewery in Warrenpoint.

So, if you would like to experience ‘Something different’ along with supporting a local business, join us for our next taproom soon.
