Beer Today’s regular round-up of news in brief: new releases, venue openings, event announcements.

Uley Crossbreed

Cross Breed, a 4% ABV Uley beer from 2025, is back, but with a subtle difference. This year, experimental hop CF277, from collaborator Charles Faram, the hop merchant, has been used. Expect a brew with hints of grapefruit and spice.

• IVO Brewery, in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, are hosting a Welcome to the Farm event on 27th and 28th March, giving the public the chance to look around their new premises.

There will be beers brewed on site to try, as well as some craft ales from other local breweries. On Friday, there will be pizzas from Pizza My Heart, and on Saturday Nomadough will be offering flatbreads with a choice of fillings. Find out more and book tickets here.

The Coppersmiths Inn

The former Weighbridge pub, in Burton upon Trent, has re-opened as The Coppersmiths Inn. For the opening day, there were three 3 Ps Brewery beers on the handpump, along with Oakham Citra.

Attic Stirchley Brown

Attic Brew Co have a new Brewers’ Series of beers, and first up is Stirchley Brown, created by Peter. It boasts a smooth, velvety texture, with notes of caramel, chocolate, and a subtle nuttiness. At 4.8% ABV, it’s described as the perfect balance of bold flavour and easy drinkability.

Bluntrock Ducks

Two Little Ducks, a 2.2% ABV small beer, is the second in Bluntrock’s series of bingo-themed specials. It has the same scaled malt, water, and yeast consistent with the rest of the Bingo beers, but with different hops. In this case, that’s Simcoe and a new variety, Elani, from Crosby Hops, in Oregon.

It’s super pale, has a delicate body, and a mellow bitterness. It’s awash with aromas of pineapple, guava, lime, white peach, and orange zest from the dry hop.

Wild Horse Yakima

Wild Horse have collaborated with Yakima Chief Hops on Digital Age, Analogue Hop, a 6% AB West Coast IPA. It showcases Krush hops in three forms – whole cone, T90, and Cryo pellets.
They’re supported by Citra, Simcoe, and Idaho 7 to create a lean, crisp and assertive brew.

Northern Monk Fresh From

Northern Monk’s third Fresh From special of 2026 is here, and this time it’s a 5.6% ABV hazy pale. Peacharine, Pacific Sunrise, and Floe Outback hops bring big New Zealand fruit flavours. Nectarine, peach, and mango are upfront on the nose and palate, with a slightly dank finish thanks to Galaxy.

Polly's Valiant Deeds

“We’re going all-in on oat cream beers this year — after a standout trial run, they’re here to stay,” says Polly’s. So, Valiant Deeds (6.1% ABV) is leading the charge.

A generous oat bill creates a soft, fluffy mouthfeel, layered with Madagascan vanilla and a touch of lactose. Dry-hopped with El Dorado and Talus, expect bright notes of Jelly Tots, pear drops, pink grapefruit, and a hint of herbal complexity, says the brewer.

ON Beer

ON Beer, the world’s first functional non-alcoholic beer, according to its maker, has secured its first national listing at Dishoom. The IPA is now available across all 16 Dishoom sites, and features on the restaurant group’s new Vitality menu, which showcases “drinks with extra function”.

Packed with botanicals and low in calories, ON Beer delivers a natural buzz without alcohol. Dishoom describes it on the menu as the “golden key to wet-your-whistle soberly”.

Chouffe Cherry 0

La Chouffe has added Chouffe Cherry 0.0% to its alcohol-free line-up. Crafted with real morello cherry juice, the aroma is of cherry and strawberry, with marzipan and sweet port, while the palate delivers lightly sweet red fruit, balanced by subtle almond character and gentle spice. It finishes with a rounded warmth.
