New beer launches and collaborations, in store, on bars, and online, from brewers around the UK

Indie Rabble Pull

Indie Rabble have collaborated with Green Duck and Paul’s Malt on Pull Yourself Together, a 4% ABV pale ale and punchline to a rather vintage joke. It blends the traditional and the modern, extra pale malt paired with Vista, Bru-1, and Eclipse hops for honeydew melon, pineapple, and tropical notes atop a light dry bready base.

Pomona

Mad About Brubeck is described by Pomona Island as a traditional West Coast IPA, coming in at 6.9% ABV. There are aromas of malt loaf and brambles. On the palate, there’s intense pine with rounded berry notes and a long, resinous finish. There’s a companion DDH New England pale, Spooky Behaviour (5% ABV). The nose is passionfruit and peach. It drinks sweet with pineapple juice, and finishes with flecks of orange and a mango finish.

Track Rising Pattern

Rising Pattern (6.5% ABV) is the latest IPA from Track. Thick, fresh, and fruity, it marries Citra’s lime and mango brightness with Nelson Sauvin’s puckering white grape and gooseberry, all mingling with NZ Cascade’s juicy grapefruit, papaya, passionfruit, and sweet red berry.

Electric Bear Orange

What Rhymes With Orange? is the question posed by the Electric Bear brewers, revealing a 4.8% ABV blood orange IPA. It’s bursting with juicy citrus from Mandarina, Centennial, and Citra hops, backed up by a generous hit of orange juice.

Vocation Hopfenhaus

Oktoberfest has arrived at Vocation with the release of Hopfenhaus, a 5% ABV wheat beer. Expect apricot, peach, and tangerine upfront, with a gentle hint of spice adding depth. A creamy body and subtle bready sweetness bring everything into balance, before a crisp finish with a touch of citrus bitterness.

Verdant Beskidy

As part of their Travellers series, Verdant have collaborated with Poland’s Pinta Brewery on Beskidy, a 6.5% ABV IPA. “This IPA is packed with Nectaron, Krush, and Simcoe, and we were really excited to bring this amazing trio of hops into this wonderful collaborative brew,” say the brewers. Expect deep, dank hop saturation, with notes of pineapple, mango, grapefruit, and citrus front and centre.

Left Handed Giant

Changing Tides is a honey spelt ale collaboration between Left Handed Giant and Fyne Ales, to mark the latter’s 25th anniversary. A fragrant pale ale, it combines 20% malted and organic flaked spelt with a touch of caramalt, on a base of heritage Haná malt. Continuous boil additions of whole leaf Simcoe lead into a generous dry-hop that’s rich in selinine, an aroma compound rarely found in hop flowers but abundant in the Alora variety. Combined with Cascade CGX and Azure there’s sweet peach, crisp grapefruit, and splashes of pine.

Organic Table Saison No 3, from Futtle, is a blend of three different barrels of fully wild-fermented organic beer from the 2022 and 2023 coolship brewing seasons. The barrels were blended together in November and left to macerate on 50kg of organic Oronule clementines, which were lightly pressed to release more of the juice. The blend was bottled and left to condition for nine months.

The result is a 4.5% ABV beer with a sharp, citrussy, acidic burst of fresh clementine upfront, followed by the earthy depth and complexity of an aged wild-fermented beer. It’s got a very dry, slightly mineral finish, with well-balanced bitterness from the clementine peels, and pours with a little sparkle.

Too Many Daves (4% ABV) is a new stout from Good Chemistry. It’s described as smooth, dark, and roasty, with hints of dark chocolate and caramel.
