2021 has been a year we will never forget. We are very thankful that the entire pack at Wicklow Wolf stayed fit and healthy as well as welcoming a few new additions to the pack.

This year has been a busy one at the brewery in Newtownmountkennedy which has seen the opening of our Taproom, the resumption of our brewery tours and of course; twenty one new beers!

Somewhere Far Away

An India Pale Lager that championed two super fresh New Zealand hops, Nelson Sauvin and Motueka.

Apex Espresso

Our delicious oatmeal stout infused with 2500 shots of AA Single Origin Costa Rican Dota Espresso from our friends in Java Republic.

Call Of Juicy

A New England IPA dry hopped with 20g/l of Citra, Strata and Sultana hops to bring a burst of juicy citrus, pineapple and tropical flavour with a touch of dankness.

Call Of Juicy: Black Hops

A Black IPA double dry hopped with 16g/l of super fresh Citra and Azacca hops.

Locavore Spring 2021

A wild brett amber ale that champions the wild yeasts of the Wicklow Wolf Hop Farm and the Wicklow terroir.

Raindrop Mixed Berry Sour

The latest addition to our core range. A lip smacking mixed berry sour, fruited with a medley of raspberry, blackberry and blueberry. A refreshing sour ale that will leave you wanting more.

Wanderer Vienna Lager

A Vienna Lager brewed in collaboration with our local team Bray Wanderers.

Takes Two To Mango

A Mango and Peach sour brewed in collaboration with our friends in Otterbank Brewing in Muff, Donegal.

For Petes Sake

A beer brewed to celebrate our first ever employee, Peter Reynier. Pete’s first beer brewed for Wicklow Wolf was American Amber and it seemed fitting that it would be the last.

Vortex Illusion

A Big West Coast DIPA heavily hopped with classic West Coast Hops Centennial, Columbus, Simcoe and Cascade. Full of piney resinous notes complimented by sweet citrus and floral hints.

Locavore Summer 2021

A Gorse Saison brewed with 10g/l of foraged gorse from our hop farm and our very own malted barley.

Grapefruit Season

A Grapefruit IPA brewed in collaboration with our friend James Vincent McMorrow to celebrate the launch of his new album ‘Grapefruit Season’.

Underwater Welding

A big Triple IPA double dry hopped with massive amounts of Talus and Idaho 7, brewed in collaboration with our friends in Boundary Brewing in Belfast.

Hitchhikers Guide

The sequel to Guardian of the Galaxy, a Rum Barrel Aged Dark Ale brewed in collaboration with our friends in Dot Brew.

Pointy Shoes 2021

A Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout Brewed to celebrate our 7th birthday.

Apex Nobó

A Chocolate Oat Milk Stout with a hint of toasted coconut, brewed with oat milk, Congolese cacao nibs and toasted coconut. Brewed in collaboration with our friends in Nobó.

Locavore Autumn 2021

A Barrel Aged Barleywine aged in Wicklow Oak barrels formerly filled with Irish Whiskey. Brewed using our very own barley grown out the back of the brewery.

Pointy Shoes 2020 Reserve

A 2 year Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout. A complex beer that showcases long, slow maturation and flavour development.

Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Four Bean Apex

A Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Four Bean Apex Stout with rich savoury notes of cinnamon, clove and mixed spice and velvety smooth chocolate.

Locavore Winter 2021

A fresh hop dry Irish stout brewed using the 2021 Wicklow Wolf Hop Farm Harvest.

Curious Mind

A big imperial stout aged for 12 months in Drumshanbo Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey Barrels. Brewed in collaboration with our friends in the shed.

We would like to thank everyone for their continued support and can’t wait to show you what we have in store for 2022!
