Indie Beer Scotland is returning to Edinburgh in 2026, after three years in Glasgow. It will take place on 26th and 27th June.

Indie Beer Scotland

The event will be staged at the Pitt Venue, in Granton. It will feature some 200 draught beers from Scotland’s best independent breweries, plus cider and spirits from independent Scottish producers.

“Indie Beer Scotland is back where it all started, in Edinburgh, and we couldn’t be more excited about our new home at The Pitt,” said Ian McGrath, of Beath Brewing, one of the festival organisers.

“An exciting new venue opened last year, with street food vendors and craft beer from Barney’s, one of the dozens of Scottish independent breweries that will be pouring at the festival.

“We’ll have everything from traditional Scottish ales, wee heavies, and 80 shillings, to modern IPAs, hazy pales, sour beers, and lagers, as well as speciality and barrel-aged beers not available anywhere else.”

Indie Beer Scotland is organised by Scottish brewers from the Society of Independent Brewers and Associates (SIBA), who have frozen beer prices from for the third year running.
