Old Brown, or Oud Bruin in Flemish, is a dark beer with a mild sourness that has been brewed in West Flanders since the 17th century.

Our Old Brown has spent over two years in oak, during which it underwent a natural secondary fermentation with Brettanomyces yeast in the wood.

With only 1400 litres bottled, this is a very limited release.

Serving temperature: 4 – 6°C

330 ml ℮ Alc. 7.1% vol

An Irishman and a Belgian who used to be vets, now we brew Belgian-style beer by hand in the West of Ireland. We love beer, especially Belgian beer. Bart is Belgian and over the years Cillian has come to love the Belgian styles of beer. We decided that within 5 years we would be running a successful microbrewery specialising in Belgian style beers.
