Climbing Knocknarea has to be one of the most rewarding things to do in Sligo. Not only are there stunning views across both Sligo Bay and Ballisodare Bay, but the mountain is home to an ancient burial site, known in mythology to be the resting place of Queen Maeve of Connacht.
