Every year is a bit of struggle to come up with gift ideas for the family – I’ll usually leave to all to Jeanne – but I’m happy to say this won’t be the case this year!

We became a Guaranteed Irish member in October so it was an easy decision to support other members through the Guaranteed Irish Gifts website. By doing so I know I am supporting great local businesses. I can see more and more people doing the same thing this year which is great to see.

I’m delighted to say I’ll be supporting two other Northside businesses this year. Hopefully Jeanne won’t read this as I’ve ordered this lovely-crafted cheeseboard, complete with chutney, from Arran Street East. We partnered with Sheridan’s Cheese for our corporate Christmas hampers plus we are all foodies, hence our #FoodLovesHope campaign, so it is an obvious choice as a gift!

On the topic of food, an order of branded cupcakes from the team here at the brewery is on the cards from thecake.ie.

We’ve been thrilled with the support we’re received from consumers, customers, local businesses and organisations such as Guaranteed Irish and LEO Fingal and supporting local will be how this country will not only survive the pandemic but thrive once it passes.
