Lithuanian Craft Brewery, Green Monster from Kaunas were one of the pioneers of the craft scene in Lithuania, and the first to brew many of the more popular international styles, including their flagship IPA.
Hungarian craft brewery First Craft Beer was founded in Budapest by two brothers in 2016. They pioneered the taproom in the city and have a special love for barrel aged stouts.
Bulgarian craft brewery Cohones from Sofia are one of the leading breweries in the still relatively small Bulgarian craft beer scene. And they produce the highest-rated Bulgarian beer.
It’s an interesting mix of experience and culture and made for a really interesting chat that covered everything from can vs bottles, to beer festivals, barrel ageing, local beer scenes, honesty with customers, and the impact of AI on breweries.
