We were delighted recently to receive an award from our fellow brewers throughout Ireland for our core range stout, Astral Grains. The second award for this beer since it’s release 12 months ago.

“This is a really unique new competition, where small local independent craft brewers in Ireland submitted their beer (unmarked and unidentified) to their peers in the microbrewing sector, who have also entered, for judging. This year breweries have submitted one beer of any style each… We’re really pleased to have created this proper competition, judged by breweries.” – ICBI

The competition was run in the lead up to Christmas 2020 and we were informed in mid January.

Porterhouse Around the Clock won outright and Kinnegar also took an award.

Line Man

Line Man

Lineman was setup in 2019 and produced their first beer in August of that year. Lineman had been a long-planned project of founder/owner/brewer Mark Lucey. Having been obsessed with beer and heavily involved in homebrewing for all his adult life, it was always an ambition to open a brewery or have a commercial brewing project that would allow him to produce a diverse range of beer. Stouts, Belgians styles, IPAs and Mixed Fermentations.
