Bristol Beer Factory are kicking off a new summer campaign, A Summer to Remember, designed to celebrate festival season with more clarity while raising money for Talk Club.

Taking centre stage in the campaign is Clear Head, the brewer’s first low/no beer, launched in 2021. Over the years, it’s rapidly grown to become their second best-selling beer, and the 11th best-selling alcohol-free option in the UK.
Brewed in partnership with Bristol mental health charity Talk Club, they’ve since raised more than £157,000 to date to support them, by donating 5% of all sales.
Now, with festival season about to kick off, the Bristol Beer Factory team are launching a campaign to showcase the benefits of choosing a low-ABV brew when enjoying the festivities. You might be opting to not drink at all, or partaking in the ever-growing phenomenon of ‘zebra striping’ — the term for drinkers who choose to alternate alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Bristol Beer Factory will be pouring Clear Head at a host of UK festivals and events throughout the summer, including Shindig Festival, Bristol and London Craft Beer Festivals, Bristol Pride, Forwards, and End of the Road. They will also be sending a newly recruited team of Clear Head ambassadors along to introduce revellers to Clear Head.
Those ambassadors will also be trained as Talk Club captains and asking people “How are you? Out of 10?” to raise the important issue of mental health — something that can so often be compounded by long days and late nights at festivals and events throughout the summer.
“We think Clear Head 0.5% is the best-tasting AF beer, and so do our customers,” said Kezia FG Williams, brand marketing manager at Bristol Beer Factory. “We want to remind Bristol and the South West why Clear Head stands above the rest, not just in flavour but as a beer for good, supporting Talk Club and asking ‘How are you? Out of 10?’
“And where better to do this than at a festival, when the days are long, the chats are deep, and you don’t want to miss a thing? Festivals are an integral part of British culture, and now you can find Clear Head readily available at so many of them, we can be here for every moment of it.”
Talk Club co-chief executive and co-founder, Ben Akers, said: “We know that doing things like being around positive people, making new friends, and listening to great music will all improve our numbers (out of 10). That’s why Clear Heads A Summer to Remember is a great idea for the ideals of Talk Club. Go out, meet new people, have fun, and keep your numbers high.”
