Left Handed Giant are celebrating their 11th anniversary with three new collaborations, created with Two Flints, Factory, and Track breweries.

The brews are also a collab with a producer at the heart of the industry, BestMalz. They provide malted barley, including a new NP Ultra-Pale malt.

“Over the past year, we’ve worked with BestMalz to find a way of reducing the colour of our most impactful beers through innovations in their malting process,” said Left Handed Giant.

“These beers are the first of their kind, as we’ve been given exclusive UK access to this very exciting product. The resulting texture, in this context, is rich, fluffy, and indulgent, and we look forward to seeing how other styles in the range can benefit from this as a base malt.”

The beers

Blancmange (6.8% ABV, collaboration with Two Flints)
A DDH hazy IPA. Riwaka’s intense citrus and pungent herbaceous character pairs perfectly with the refined gooseberry from Nelson Sauvin, with Mosaic Cryo bringing sweetness. Expect notes of blueberry, passionfruit, and gooseberry.

Meringue (6.8% ABV, collaboration with Factory)
A DDH hazy IPA. Citra is combined with New Zealand varieties. The rich sweetness of Peacharine layers with the thiol-heavy complexity of Nelson Sauvin. Expect pressed grape, Saturn peach, and blood orange.

Fondue (8% ABV, collaboration with Track)
A hazy DIPA. A fruit salad hop combination of Citra with Riwaka and Motueka. Expect passionfruit, key lime, and Seville orange.
