For the past two years the ICBI have run a ‘Beer Of The Year’ competition. This is an independent competition with no cost of entry other than active ICBI membership and it is judged blind by brewers. Full results of the competition are available on the ICBI website.
The ICBI, Independent Craft Brewers of Ireland, is the official representative trade body for the independent microbrewery sector in Ireland.
We’re delighted that our peers in the independent brewing industry have given Astral Grains this award for the second year in a row. We’re really proud of this distinctive stout and we feel it reflects the brewery’s character really well.
