Wild brews for summer from Burning Sky

Brewers and blenders Burning Sky are welcoming the summer days with a quartet of intriguing rustic beers, in both sharing bottles and 440ml cans.

Burning Sky Hidden Path

In 750ml bottles are Piquette (5.6% ABV) and Hidden Path (6.2% ABV).

Westwell Wines provided Burning Sky with lightly pressed Chardonnay grape skins refermented in water for Piquette. “Aged further with mixed fermentation beer, we are pleased to challenge the perception of beer and wine — what they are and what they can be,” says the brewer. “We genuinely could not be prouder of this refreshing little beauty!”

Hidden Path is a special blend of selected Anniversaire barrels, resting for the briefest time on wild fruits for a “subtle and considered beer”.

Rustic Summer Beer (4.2% ABV) is a seasonal wild beer brewed with fresh elderflowers and gooseberries for a tart, thirst-quenching taste. Le cœur Damson (5.2% ABV) is a mixed fermentation, foudre-aged beer, rested on whole damsons. The naturally sweet and sharp flavours of the fruit marry with the gentle acidity of the beer.
