After the miles and elevation gain, the mud, the laughs – next comes the exhale. The sauna is where the day slows down and the body catches up, where the head goes quiet and the shoulders finally drop. This guide rounds up our go-to spots to warm through, sweat it out, and reset properly — the perfect mid-point during your Elevated Day before putting your feet over dinner and a pint. Switch off, breathe deep, and let your body unwind. We have pulled together a list of our favourite sauna spots in Wicklow – we’d love to hear your favourite spots for sauna ritual.

Helios Sauna – Multiple Locations

Helios has been on the sauna scene for over five years now, with two incredible locations based on Bray Seafront, The Cottage and Helios Rooftop Sauna. Both saunas have cold plunges but if you’re feeling more adventurous, they are both just a short stroll from the sea.

Seawater Saunas – Bray Seafront

Located right on Bray Promenade, Seawater Saunas boasts three saunas, a hot tub and cold plunges which all offer sweeping views of the horizon and Bray Head.

Fad Saoil Saunas – Multiple Locations

With locations at the Cove in Greystones and at Roasted Brown in Kilcoole, Fad Saoil have two incredible saunas with adventure in mind.

The Barrel Sauna – Greystones Harbour

Located in the boat yard in Greystones next to the Beach House, the Barrel Sauna is the perfect place to find a moment of calm and clarity.

Croí Lán Sauna – Enniskerry

Nestled in the hills of Enniskerry, Croí Lán Sauna is a new addition to the roster of Wicklow Saunas – check it out after an afternoon spent in Powerscourt gardens.

Wicklow Axe Club Sauna – Glendalough

Run by our friends in the Dublin and Wicklow Axe Club, immerse yourself in the landscape of Glendalough here. Following a stretch in the sauna take a plunge into the nearby river to cool off.

Tinteán Sauna – Blessington

Tinteán Sauna boasts views of the Poulaphouca Reservoir – the perfect view for moments of calm and clarity in the wilds of Wicklow.

The Boatyard Sauna – Wicklow Town

Based in the Wicklow Town Harbour, the Boatyard Sauna is a must visit after time spent walking the Wicklow Cliff Walk.
