Brew York has announced a Christmas Collection of beers, comprising two very different milk stouts, and a sour.
Fairytale of Brew York 2024 (4.9% ABV) takes inspiration from the festive treat of Florentine. “This year our festive stout is a super rich milk stout with flavours of pistachio and cherry,” says the brewer. “Additional lactose adds a rich creamy body to our annual Christmas stout.”
The other dark beer is Nightmare of Brew York 2024 (8.5% ABV), which takes inspiration from another festive treat, Stroopwafel. It’s a super rich milk stout with flavours of caramel and a subtle cinnamon spicing. Additional lactose adds a rich creamy body.
The third beer is Dreams of Brew York 2024, a 6.5% ABV apple and cinnamon sour. “Heaps of juicy apples combine with spicy cinnamon, with lactose rounding off the tartness perfectly,” says the brewer.
