We have an exciting opportunity to join the Wicklow Wolf pack. Due to the continued growth of our business, we are looking to add a warehouse operator to the Wicklow Wolf Pack.

Title: Warehouse Operator

Role: Full Time, Permanent.

Work Pattern: 39 hour week, Mon – Fri. 

Location: Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow, Ireland

Salary: Commensurate with Experience/Qualifications

Warehouse Operator

Due to the continued growth of our business, we are looking to add a warehouse operator to the Wicklow Wolf Pack. This role is a key part of our team enabling us to produce and distribute high quality beer, with a positive team centric work ethic and a creative and proactive approach to their work. The successful applicant will be joining a small production & logistics with a central focus on providing our customers with the highest quality beers and exemplary service. The role is a key support function to allow our production team operate efficiently and safely. With interaction across all teams in the brewery maintaining positive and respectful relations is key to the success of this role. Attention to detail, good organisational skills & taking ownership of the working area are essential qualities for this role. For the right person with demonstrated aptitude there is the opportunity to evolve this role. 

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, quality and efficiency are a priority in all operations and decisions.

• Communicate clearly with production & logistics team to ensure their requirements are met. 

• Maintain a high standard of data logging and record keeping.

• Work & adapt to facilitate production & logistics schedule to ensure that materials & orders are available as required to meet the needs of the business.

• Work with logistics team to pick and prep orders in a timely manner for shipping and direct delivery.

• Proactive approach to problem solving within the warehouse area & be open minded to implementing new techniques and ways of working. 

• Loading and unloading of deliveries in & out of the brewery.

• Work with production manager to continually optimise the space & layout of the warehouse to meet the business’s needs.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness & organisation within thewarehouse, yard & other storage areas. 

• Communicate and work openly and honestly with immediate teams and the wider business. 

• Interact with external drivers, contractors, customers and visitors in a positive and helpful manner. 

Essential Attributes

• Forklift Experience

• Highly motivated, self-starting with a desire to continuously improve processes and working environment. 

• Have a flexible approach to the working day. We are a small team which requires us to react quickly to changing situations with a positive attitude. 

• Proactive approach to daily & weekly work schedule to identify opportunities to improve process efficiencies and reduce waste. 

Desirable Attributes

• Forklift License distinct advantage but training will be provided if license currently not held. 

• Has a responsible and positive approach when tackling problems.

• Positive attitude to a busy working environment where changes in scheduling will require willingness to work flexible hours when required. 

Qualifications/Experience

• Previous warehouse/stores experience. 

• Forklift License

Wicklow Wolf Brewing Company is at the forefront of the craft beer industry in Ireland. Founded in 2014, it has become one of the leading brands in a very vibrant and fast-growing sector of the beer industry. In the last 3 years we have relocated to our new brewing facility in Newtownmountkennedy at the foot of the Wicklow Mountains to fulfil the growing demand for our beers. We brew, package & dispatch all beer produced on site into kegs, can and bottles. 

In addition to this we run our own beer & cider distribution business from our production site. At Wicklow Wolf our mission is to brew exceptional beer in a sustainable way and it’s our people that allow us to achieve this and supply our customers with exceptional, consistent and innovative beer.
