Our latest recruit, Conor Fox who hails from Malahide, keeps the Canadian influence going among the team following two years at Steam Whistle Brewing in Toronto as a
Packaging Operative.
His love of craft beer began following a tour of 71 Brewing in Dundee. When in lived in Toronto he got a job in events in Steam Whistle, working at corporate events and weddings which all came to end once the pandemic hit. He was given the option to switch over to packaging which he gladly took-up and in his own words “Loved it!”
“I’d love to be a brewer, it’d be an ideal job and I love training on the job. That’s what I’ve loved here so far, working in a small brewery I get to see every aspect of brewing and the business as opposed to a bigger one where you have lots of completely separate departments. I’m very fond of a red ale but if I were to brew my first beer here it’d have to be a West Coast IPA.”
