London local The Althorp — standing next to Wandsworth Common — has re-opened its doors following a major refurbishment.

Dark wood furnishings, exposed brickwork, leather sofas, and eclectic touches create an inviting spot. The sun trap terrace overlooks the common, providing an ideal setting for long summer evenings. The pub also has two stunning rooms available for hire.
Behind the bar, pub-goers will be spoilt for choice, says pub owner Young’s, from local brews, including Gypsy Hill, to Jubel Mango and timeless Guinness, and Young’s Ale.
In the kitchen, head chef Alex Da Cruz is championing seasonal ingredients from British suppliers.
