Uley Brewery’s first special of 20026 will be released on Monday (23rd February) and it’s a new beer from Stuart and the Cotswolds-based team.

Uley Reservoir Hogs

Reservoir Hogs is a 3.8% ABV ruby-coloured ale. It has an aroma of coffee and blackcurrant, with fruit on the tongue and a long, bitter finish. Dark Crystal and chocolate malt are balanced with English Phoenix hops.

At the same time, Uley have revealed details of the rest of their specials for 2026, and their release dates. They are:

  • Cross Breed
A remake from 2025, but this year using Charles Faram experimental hop CF277 for a beer with hints of orange and spice, with floral overtones. Release date: 30th March.
  • Hog’s Wallop IPA
GB meet the USA. Blending the spicy English hop Olicana with an American classic hops for a 5.2% ABV brew. Release date: 4th May.
  • Cheeky Swine
A favourite from 2025, a 4.8% ABV best bitter. Release date: 11th September.
  • Harvest Special
A green-hop beer. Ken has his heart set on a hop called Mystic. Fingers crossed! Release date: mid-October.
  • Pigor Mortis
A big, beautiful rich, dark ruby winter ale, coming in at 6% ABV. Release date: 23rd November.

There will also be a new summer special, yet to be named, a straw-coloured beer, due to be released on 15th June. Find out more about Uley Brewery here.
