Brew York are launching two new special editions of their Empress Tonkoko imperial milk stouts, coming on Tuesday, 1st July.

Barrel-aged Rum Empress Tonkoko will be joined by a S’More variant, each coming in at 10.6% ABV.
Aged for six months in carefully selected barrels, these brews take Empress Tonkoko’s rich, velvety character to new heights,” say Brew York, “with triple the coconut, tonka, and vanilla, layered in decadent chocolate and finished with a warming boozy kick”.
The rum version is matured in barrels chosen for their rich oak character, as well as notes of vanilla and caramel, adding layers of complexity to an already decadent beer.
The S’More variant has been aged in a blend of Buffalo Trace, Heaven Hill, and Jim Beam barrels, and enhanced with soft marshmallows and a biscuity foundation.
