Edinburgh based brewer Vault City is launching three new beers next month as part of its Sweet Shop range.

Vault City sweets

Raspberry Blueberry Bumblegum Bottles, Fizzy Rainbow Belts, and Giant Rhubarb and Custard are packed with nostalgic flavours.

Alongside sweet-sour aromas and fruity notes, Raspberry Blueberry Bubblegum Bottles also pack a punch with unmistakable bubblegum and zingy sherbet. This modern sour beer pours electric blue.

Fizzy Rainbow Belts is a sour beer that’s sweet and tangy. Bursting with juicy orange and strawberries, it’s balanced by a belt of sharp lemon.

Rhubarb and Custard sour is a classic Vault City recipe amped up to 8.4% ABV, bringing tangy and nostalgic rhubarb flavours together with rich, creamy vanilla custard.

These releases follow a run of sweet success for the Scottish beer-maker. One of TikTok‘s most viral sweets, Dubai Chocolate, caught the eye of Vault City chiefs in 2025 and soon after, their sour beer nod to the decadent bar was born. The brew boasts hints of silky milk chocolate, rich pistachio cream, and golden syrup-soaked knafeh pastry.

Christmas saw a Last Christmas beer inspired by two of the 80s most-loved creations: WhamBars and pop duo Wham! hit the shelves. Five hundred Wham bars were boiled down and infused into the festive tipple.

Buckfast Beer was brought back to supermarket shelves by Vault City in January. The drink was inspired by the Buckie Bomb cocktail, which is made by mixing Buckfast Tonic Wine with Irn-Bru. This creates tangy Buckie vibes with juicy blackberries, subtle caffeine notes, and layers of sweet, dark stewed fruits, citrus, and bubblegum.
