Hydes Brewery has launched its latest seasonal ale, Stingo (6% ABV), the newest addition to its popular Vintage cask ale collection.

Hydes Stingo

Stingo delivers a robust character, with added strength and complexity, balanced by a pronounced hop bitterness that creates a sharp and memorable flavour profile.

It follows successful earlier releases this year, including XPA, Mild, IPA, and Hydes Red. A 5.2% ABV Porter will round off the programme later in the year.

“Stingo embodies the essence of autumn,” said Hydes managing director Adam Mayers. “We’ve created a beer that is both comforting and flavourful, capturing the richness of the season. We can’t wait for our customers to experience it.”

To complement this year’s Vintage collection, Hydes has introduced striking retro-inspired branding across the seasonal range. Bold pumpclips and promotional materials revive the iconic Anvil Brewery identity, designed to appeal to long-time ale enthusiasts and new customers alike.

Stingo will be available on the bar across Hydes pubs from 1st September until the end of October.
