Shepherd Neame has released a lager cut with apricot and raspberry as its latest limited edition beer. The crisp brew comes in at 3.4% ABV.

It’s the latest innovation from Shepherd Neame’s Small Batch Brewery, a 15-barrel kit offering the opportunity to experiment with styles, ingredients, and techniques.
“After the success of First Drop — the refreshing session IPA which joined our permanent range in February — we wanted to build on the momentum and create a similarly vibrant beer which was fruit-infused but also lower in alcohol,” said director of brewing Mike Unsworth.
“Apricots and raspberries, both grown locally here in the Garden of England, were a natural choice. They bring a juicy depth and aroma that makes Fresh Drop a truly standout and refreshing beer.
“Following in the footsteps of our other new releases this year, such as Iron Wharf stout and Creekside Juicy IPA, Fresh Drop reflects our deep connection to its Kentish roots — pairing provenance with pioneering flavour. It really is a fresh new approach for our brewing and we are excited for people to try it!”
