Yorkshire brewer T&R Theakston has secured national and regional listings for its new, highly-sought-after Salted Caramel Porter.

Theakston Salted Caramel Porter

First available at the brewery’s Visitor Centre in Masham and Theakston’s online shop, the beer was an immediate success and stocks sold out within days.

The porter is now stocked across a range of major supermarkets, including Waitrose, Booths, and Sainsbury’s, totalling over 250 stores nationwide, as well as independent farm shops.

Theakston Salted Caramel Porter (4.2% ABV) is a smooth, full-flavoured dark beer that combines the richness of roasted malt with indulgent layers of caramel and toffee. A hint of chocolate and a touch of sea salt add depth and balance, while Challenger and Fuggles hops lend a gentle bitterness to the finish.

“The reception that Salted Caramel Porter has received has been brilliant,” said Theakston managing director, Richard Bradbury. “It flew from the shelves in our Visitor Centre, and we’re really pleased to now see it take its place in the aisles of major retailers nationwide.

“A creative twist on a traditional porter, we’re really proud of our Salted Caramel Poter and look forward to reaching loyal Theakston fans and new drinkers alike with our latest addition to the brewery’s off-trade portfolio.”
