New! Beer Today’s rundown of new brews, brewing projects, and collaborations, in a regular digest form…

There’s a trio of new canned beers from Donzoko, starting with Cellars, a 6.2% ABV strong bock lager. Single-hopped with Most hops, it has been decocted and fermented very long and very cold. It’s described as robust and satisfying, with hay and subtle fruit aromas, inspired by the strong light bocks of Europe.
Hidden Sounds (5.2% ABV) is a collaboration with Cloudwater, a single-hop pilsner using UK variety Solero. “We’re getting fleshy white peach, plenty of fresh floral notes, and that classic pils bitterness,” say the brewers. There is also a new West Coast pale ale, Heartwood, coming in at 5.5% ABV. Expect notes of pine, melon, and grapefruit.

A threesome of beers, too, from Holy Goat this month. Venom Hell(7.2% ABV)has been blended from two batches of golden sour beer aged on 400 kg of local Scottish blueberries, in addition to 10kg of Nigerian hibiscus and 4kg of Tanzanian vanilla.
Sabra Cadabra Vol 2 (5.3% ABV) is a robust export stout, conditioned on single-origin vanilla beans from Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro region. They lend a soft creaminess with notes of chocolate, raisin, and plum, supported by a rich malt bill of Golden Promise, brown, crystal, chocolate, and roasted barley. It was fermented with house kveik yeast.
Sunsmasher 2026 (5.8% ABV) was fermented with a Brettanomyces blend and aged for just over four months in tank before being conditioned on 220g per litre of whole British apricots, which were pulverised by hand (using a mallet). The Brett fermentation delivers vibrant tropical notes of pineapple, stone fruit, and citrus, all of which are amplified by the fresh apricot addition.

We’ve had Verdant Putty for 2026, but now it’s the turn of Puttty, the triple IPA, to make its annual appearance. “We have sucked up the world’s supply of Galaxy, Mosaic, and Azacca hops like an insatiable black hole and then pummelled them violently into this crazy big relative of our most famous DIPA,” says the brewer.
This year, the grist has been lightened slightly, giving a brighter colour while retaining the same thick mouthfeel. There’s dry-hopping with Mosaic and Azacca post fermentation, then with Galaxy a day later.

To celebrate their 10th anniversary, Neon Raptor are collaborating with 26 international breweries, each of whose name begins with a different letter of the alphabet.

Seven Bro7hers’ new seasonal is Juicy Peach, a 6% ABV IPA. Designed to capture the feeling of the season changing, Juicy Peach pours with a soft golden haze and delivers vibrant ripe peach flavours balanced with subtle citrus notes and a crisp, refreshing finish. It’s described as light-bodied and easy-drinking, the perfect bridge between winter warmers and full summer serves.
