Hydes Brewery has announced the return of its Oasis tribute ale, Definitely Not Maybe, marking the Manchester band’s highly anticipated summer 2025 gigs.

Hydes Definitely

The limited-edition ale will be exclusively available in Hydes pubs, coinciding with the band’s Manchester homecoming performances at Heaton Park between 11th and 20th July.

Originally launched in 2023 as part of Hydes’ seasonal beer range, inspired by Manchester’s iconic musical legacy, Definitely Not Maybe struck a chord with music and beer lovers alike. That year’s line-up also paid homage to other legendary local acts, including The Smiths, Stone Roses, and New Order. The Oasis-themed brew quickly became a standout favourite, celebrated for its bold flavour and nostalgic nod to one of Britain’s most influential rock bands.

It’s a 3.8% ABV blonde ale that delivers a refreshing, zesty character, with a vibrant citrus kick. Brewed with a blend of malt, wheat, and flaked rice, and packed with Citra hops, it offers a bright, zingy flavour that mirrors the anthemic energy and bold attitude of the band it celebrates.

“We’re incredibly excited to bring Definitely Not Maybe back for a limited time,” said Adam Mayers, managing director of Hydes Brewery.

“Oasis is synonymous with Manchester, and with the band returning for these landmark gigs, it felt only right to raise a glass to them. This ale is our tribute to the band’s legacy and to the city that shaped them, best enjoyed in the heart of Manchester with fellow fans.”
