Located in the heart of Amsterdam, craft brewery Butchers Tears specialise in traditional Franconian beers and British Ales, along with Scandinavian farmhouse ales and other real ale craft beer.

They use open fermentors and have been repitching their yeast for a decade.

Founder Jan told us more about their history and operation during the craft brewer chat we had with with Irish craft brewer Land & Labour and Dutch craft brewer Nevel Wild Ales.
