Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm has announced that its best-loved Rattler brand is heading overseas for the first time.

It will launch this spring in Finland and Thailand, as part of a new three-year global export agreement. Germany and Denmark will follow later in the year.
A new export partnership with global drinks distributor Cheers Global gives the Cheshire-based firm exclusive rights to distribute Healeys’ award-winning cyder internationally.
“Healeys, with its diverse portfolio of brands, including the Rattler fruit variants, is extremely well positioned to be positively received globally,” said Craig Johnstone, managing director of Cheers Global.
“Both Finland and Thailand have a strong appreciation for cider. In Finland, this is influenced by its Nordic neighbour Sweden, a major cider producer, known for popular brands such as Kopparberg and Rekorderlig.
“Meanwhile, Thailand’s tropical climate and popularity as a tourist destination make it an ideal setting for enjoying refreshing drinks like cider.

“There is also a growing interest in real ciders that offer an alternative to the mass-produced options that many consumers are used to. Finland has a well-established cider market, with strong demand for flavoured and lower-ABV options.
“In contrast, while Thailand’s market is still largely dominated by beer and spirits, popular tourist destinations such as Bangkok, Phuket, and Chiang Mai are seeing growing interest in authentic cider.”
Joe Healey, managing director of Healey’s, said: “It’s incredibly exciting to see Rattler heading overseas. This marks a new chapter for us as we introduce our Cornish cyder to a global audience.
“Rattler is already a firm favourite here in the UK, and we’re thrilled to share a taste of Cornwall with new fans around the world.
“As a family business, it’s a proud moment, and one we’re looking forward to building on in the months and years ahead.”
Rattler has been crowned the UK’s most loved cider for the second consecutive year in a nationwide survey by market research consultancy Savanta.
