Orbit Beers are getting festive with the return of Jolly Saint Nico — a spiced take on their award-winning Köln Lager, Nico.

Brewed for Christmas, this returning festive favourite in Orbit Beers’ ever-evolving White Label Series brings together the crisp refreshment of a Kölsch-style beer with warming notes of nutmeg, clove, and allspice.
Nico is inspired by Cologne’s classic Kölsch style — a hybrid between lager and ale — named in tribute to musician Christa Päffgen, known as Nico. Jolly Saint Nico builds on that tradition, adding festive spice to the delicately balanced malt and hop profile of the lager. It is hopped with Pilgrim and Tettnang.
Jolly Saint Nico (4.8% ABV) pours pale golden with a fragrant, herbal hop aroma. It has notes of citrus, cloves, and seasonal spices. It’s light on the palate, with a touch of bready maltiness, an assertive hop character, and warming flavours of nutmeg, ginger, and allspice.
“The soft carbonation and dry, crisp finish make it the perfect beer to pair with Christmas dinner,” says the brewer. “The subtle spices also add a moreish, festive flavour to accompany cheeseboards and mince pies over the festive season.”
