Orbit Beers have given a second outing to Lentebock (6.4% ABV) this week, a traditional Dutch-style strong lager to celebrate the arrival of springtime.

The beers is part of the brewer’s White Label series, an ever-growing collection of one-off, limited-edition releases that
explore the experimental side of their brewing. These beers aim to champion the unsung heroes of European brewing culture here in the UK.
Orbit Beers’ Lentebock — described as “dangerously drinkable” — has a rich golden/orange hue with a crisp, refreshing character. A gentle malt sweetness leads the way, thanks to a blend of premium lager and caramel malts, bringing notes of honey, biscuit, and bready cereal. This is balanced by a lively, floral, and herbal hop presence from Bobek and Tettnang varieties. Expect a full, rounded body, and a clean, assured bitterness.
“We’re bringing the Lentebock back due to popular demand and adding it to our seasonal line-up once again in 2025,” said Robbie Sykes, general manager at Orbit Beers.
“First brewed in 2018, the Lentebock is our tribute to the classic Dutch spring beers, which are known for their depth of flavour while remaining bright and refreshing.
“We’ll be celebrating with a Lentebock spring festival at the Orbit Beers taproom on Saturday, 26th April, featuring fresh pours of the Lentebock, Dragon Flame BBQ in the yard, garden party games, live music, and Orbit DJs into the evening.”
