Oktoberfest returns to Windsor this weekend

Indie Rabble Brewing Co will host their third Oktoberfest event this Saturday (27th September), with their biggest ever beer selection.

Indie Rabble Oktoberfest

The event — as authentic a celebration of Crown Prince Ludwig’s wedding as you’ll find on these shores, according to the brewer — will also have live music and Bavarian street food.

There will be seven festival lagers, including their own special release, a Marzen, and several imported German Oktoberfestbiers.

“Oktoberfest for us is beer Christmas,” said Indie Rabble co-owner Dave Hayward. “Whilst we love producing all beer, both our head brewer and my favourite beer style is the lager. So we always go a little bit extra for Oktoberfest.

“Expect a celebration of all things Bavarian, with a live oompah band, bratwurst and currywurst a-plenty, a Bavarian-style biergarten experience, table service, and, of course — if you fancy it — unlimited lager. Yes, really.”

The party starts at noon at Indie Rabble’s central Windsor taproom. Find out more and buy tickets here.
